Will Keep On Praying To God

Things are going a little wrong but I will continue to keep faith. Things change as far as getting my house accessible but I will keep praying and keep faith that things will turn around again.

They are working on putting a bathroom on the first floor which is a blessing but there are still some things that need to be done, so I will continue working on looking for help for the things that need to be done. I have to get someone that can pave my alley seeing that is my only exit and entrance, I also have to find a contractor that can enlarge my kitchen so that I can get through the kitchen in my wheelchair with out hitting the cupboards. I have been looking for a part-time job but have not had any luck yet. But as I say anything is possible by the Grace of God.

I am wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thank God Things Are Changing!

Just wanted to post a note to let everyone know that with Faith in God and work you can get things to change. I went on the computer and did search for help for the disabled and came up with some information. Thank God I got help from the Habitat For Humanity and than I also had some help from Rebuilding Together. I still didn't get the main thing addressed so I kept on looking and I found a place called Self Determination and submitted my information. Well they called me and sent me an application that I filled out and they called me back and said that the work I needed done was mainly to make my house more accessible. They gave my application to a place called The Center For Independent Living and thank God they are going to help me. So I feel very Blessed and happy and I thank God for all His Blessings.

About ASK

My husband and I are both disabled. He has CardioMyopathy which is a disease of the heart. There isn't anything they can do medically for him. This causes his heart to function at 14% and it is very difficult for him to move around. He also has congested heart failure which makes him retain water and that also makes it difficult for him to move around. There isn't anything that can be done for these condition but prescribe medicines for him that can help relieve some of the problems. He has to use a wheel chair to go out because he is unable to walk very far. He also has to watch his fluid intake and his sodium. He had to go back to work in order to keep medical insurance. Against Doctors orders the doctor said he is a drop over dead candidate. I am also disabled with a disease called familial spastic paraplegia. This is a progressive disease and it causes spasms and weakness and an unstable gate. I have been in a wheel chair for 15 years. This disease is so uncommon and there isn't anything that can be done for me medically except prescribe some medicines that will help with the spasms and pain. I have been unable to find employment and at this time we are having some issues that need to be addressed and we just can't take care of them on our own. We are in desperate need of a person that can pave an alley. We need someone that can do it at a discount rate because as I said we are hurting financially. There are other things that need addressed and I am sure in time we will attempt to work on them. This alley needs to be addressed right away because it in sinking in. We live in South Central Pa please contact me by email if you can offer any assistance. Be it by a financial donation to my PayPal or a job that I am able to do. I have to get these things addressed as soon as I can because the alley is starting to sink in and I am praying to God that, that does not happen. I am going to keep praying and keep Faith that this will be taken care of. Thank You for any help that you can offer. God Bless
